Philosophy of Ministry

The overarching philosophy of The Generation to Come ministry is to assist parents in rearing their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).

This is accomplished by clearly presenting the gospel to children so that they might truly believe and by effectively teaching Bible truths to encourage spiritual growth in Christian children. All children are welcome to attend, whether children of church members or not. There is a small fee to help support the program. However, we turn away no child.

Description of Ministry

GENERATION TO COME happens on Wednesdays from 7-9 pm. The children are grouped as follows:

BUZZIE BEES: Three years old to transitional kindergarten
RED BUILDERS: Kindergarten and first graders
GOLD BUILDERS: Second and third graders
KNIGHTS: Fourth through sixth graders

This dynamic ministry serves children ages three through sixth grade and/or eleven years old. The format is designed to maximize “fun-with-a-purpose!” Children participate in worship time, game time, council time (the preached word), small group time for personal application, memory verse time, snacks, and more! Special Events in the year include the Harvest Festival (October), Missions Month Coin Drive (February) and the Infinity 500 Pine Car Race and BBQ (May) which is an all-church event.
