South Africa

Kilwa and Nicole Anderson

Nicole and I have an exciting ministry opportunity before us. I have been called to pastor a church plant called Grace Bible Church in Port Elizabeth, South Africa’s fifth largest city.

This independent evangelical congregation has been going since 2004 and has a core group of about 35 people who really love the Lord. This servant-hearted church is yet to be self-sustaining and self-governing and by calling a full-time pastor it intends to move to the next level of having more impact in the community. There is a definite need for this church in the area, which has outgrown it’s current facility. Andre Pienaar, a fellow graduate from The Master’s Seminary has been pastoring the church for the last five years in a tent-making capacity working a minimum of 40 hours a week. He desires to work alongside a full time pastor. Andre and I look to compliment each other well.

I started working here in mid November and both Nicole and I are thoroughly enjoying our time.

I am excited to serve God in assisting Grace Bible Church to herald the gospel of Christ in exalting Him by equipping the saints in grace to influence the community with grace. PE abounds with opportunities to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and impact the greater Eastern Cape Region of South Africa.

Grace Bible Church has committed to give us what they can afford with the goal of becoming self-sustaining as soon as possible. We are developing a support team who will partner with us to cover the difference. Please will you prayerfully consider partnering with us financially and in prayer.
