Women's Ministry
Purpose
The purpose of the various women’s ministries is to equip women for their role in the home, in the world, and in the church. We desire to encourage and to stimulate women “unto good works”. This is done through one-on-one discipleship, Bible Studies, fellowship events and many opportunities to serve the Lord.
It is the desire of this ministry to see women grow in their walk with the Lord. “Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips not enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the Word of God will not be dishonored.” Titus 2:3-5 It is also our desire to see women become useful in the Body of Christ. As they become aware of opportunities to concretely express the love of God through the giving of themselves, prayer, and in the meeting of physical needs….”but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:15,16.
Listed below are the various meetings of the women's ministry:

Mother's Club
Meetings: 2nd Tuesday monthly, 9:30 - 11:30 A.M, Room 115
Mother's Club is for moms with preschool age children and mothers-to-be. The foundation of this ministry is the mandate in Titus 2:3-5 for the "older women to teach and encourage the younger women what is good," in roles, relationships, priorities of home, family, and church. Help with childcare is greatly appreciated. If you are an older woman and available once a month for two hours to help with childcare, contact Becky Foley.

Retreats and Conferences
Once a year we are privileged to have a retreat or conference. These events are designed to challenge and stimulate women. There is much preparation, and many opportunities to serve.

Evening Edition: Women's Fellowship Meetings
The "Evening Edition" meets three to four times a year. As the name suggests, these meetings take place in the evening so that all women would be able to attend. These meetings are designed to not only enrich the women spiritually, but are also a time to fellowship with one another. The scope of these meetings include anything from a topic presented at Titus Two's Day to a book review, or, perhaps, something centered around fellowship only, to even a practical demonstration of a skill that would benefit a woman's ministry to her family and others in the church.
We trust you will take advantage of the "Evening Editions" when they are made available. If you are interested in helping or have any ideas for these meetings please contact Karen Fernandez.
