About modified COVID mode
We are currently gathering with a combination of different venues. Here is a summary of all of these locations:
Live, Indoors Worship Center
Our worship center seats almost 1200. We block off every other row, and encourage people to sit with social distancing.
Live Feed Locations
We currently have 4 locations on campus to catch the live feed:
- Outdoors on the Basketball court (weather permitting)
- Overflow room (2nd floor)
- Multipurpose Room
- Room 114/116 – Family training room for kids still learning how to sit quietly during service
- Student Center – mask-only room
You can also access our live stream at cbcvallejo.org/live and the other following locations:
We do not want the mask issue to be a divisive issue. You will find that the majority of people who attend CBC wear face-coverings for various reasons. However, if you have a biblical conviction to avoid face-coverings, we do respect individual freedoms and allow people to make choices. However, we only ask that you consider others around you who may not share your convictions.
For the most current updates on services, see this page.
For those who cannot attend in person, we will continue our live stream.
There are two main buildings on campus. The in-person worship service is taking place in the Worship Center in Building A with social distancing. You may also watch a live feed of our services from the multipurpose room in our B Building and on our basketball court on the north side of Building A (basketball court only available for the morning service).Google Map
Parking is available in the following locations:
If you don’t find a parking spot in our lot, then the following businesses sometimes allow us to use their parking spaces for Sunday services:
- Vallejo Plunge Swimming Pool – 801 Nebraksa Street
- Vallejo Broadway Auto Repair, 850 Broadway Street
- A1 Collision Repair, 970 Broadway Street
You can also park in the surrounding neighborhood along Broadway, Nebraska, Delaware, Texas, or Pierce streets.
CBC has no specific dress code. On Sundays, you’ll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits and dresses.
Services begin at 10:00 am, and 6:00 pm (currently online only). You may find a seat yourself, or ask one of the ushers to assist you. Our services typically begin with 30 minutes of musical praise and worship, followed by a 50-60 minute sermon.
Opportunities to Get to Know People
There are many opportunities to get to know our church better through various ministries. Please take note of a few:
Home Fellowship Groups
These are small groups of 10-30 people that meet in the homes of our church family throughout the week and are extremely helpful in developing friendships for receiving encouragement in the Word and support. If you would like to attend, please see the list of home fellowship groups.
Once again, we are glad that you were able to find us on the web. If you are looking for a church home, we invite you to visit with us here at Community Bible Church!
