By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have for one another. (John 13:35)
To our dear CBC church family,
As we talk with many of you, what stands out is how much you want to love God and love others, including loving and praying for us as elders. We want you to know how grateful we are – you have upheld us as we seek the Lord’s will and make difficult decisions.
As you know, we already have a meeting scheduled for Thursday evening. We thought it would give us an opportunity to have the most updated information as we make long-term decisions for our church family.
But as things continue to change very quickly, we met this morning so we could give more guidance even now.
As Andrew shared on Sunday morning, there are many things that go into any decision, chief among them: love. With that heart, we are cancelling all in-person church meetings for this week. This includes our Home Fellowship Groups.
We will live stream our Sunday morning service at 10:30 am.
Please continue to pray for us as we make longer term decisions on Thursday evening as planned.
And may this be our opportunity as a church family to shine brighter than ever, so that many might come to know Christ. Pray for how God can use you to minister to the body of Christ and to reach out to those that need to hear the reason for the hope we have in Him. As Phil challenged us on Sunday – may people see our love.
Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5: 16
