Phillip Foley
Phillip Foley is the Lead Pastor at Community Bible Church, where he has served full-time since 1996. Phil came to know the Lord in 1984 through the discipleship ministry of CBC. Phil currently provides general oversight of the church, preaches weekly, and has a passion for training and shepherding men to be leaders in their home and in the church, for women to experience the joy and freedom of biblical womanhood as they carry out their role in the various spheres of their lives, and for the next generation to come to know the Lord. Phil is one of the board of directors and a professor at The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. Phil holds a doctorate degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master's degree from Trinity Theological Seminary, and a bachelors degree at Grace School of Theology and Ministry (now The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary). Phil and his wife Becky have been married since 1985 and have five children and eleven grandchildren.
Michael Lucas
Michael Lucas is Associate Pastor of Community Bible Church where he has served full-time since 2022. As a member and servant at CBC since 1997, he has led in CBC’s Youth Ministry, College Ministry, and Worship Ministry. He now serves as pastor/elder, leads a midweek Home Fellowship Group and oversees various Adult ministries. He earned his Masters of Divinity at the Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary in 2016 and now serves there as professor of Bible Exposition. He lives in Vallejo with his wife Eileen and son MJ.
Thomas Kawazoe
Thomas Kawazoe is the Administrative Pastor of Community Bible Church. God used CBC's own student ministries to bring Thomas to Christ during his high school years as he participated in among other things, the first volleyball outreach. His current responsibilities include shepherding the office staff, overseeing the financial and legal aspects of the church, managing Exalting Christ Ministries International, and helping oversee various ministries including the Deacons and Encouraging Biblical Womanhood. He also leads a weekly Home Fellowship Group. He has an MBA from UC Davis, a bachelor degree from UC Berkeley and is currently working on his Masters of Divinity at The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. He and his wife, Bernadette, have the joy of raising four children.
Dan Arcilla
Dan Arcilla is the Pastor of Student Ministries and Communications Manager at CBC. Dan grew up in a religious household, but his life was irrevocably changed as a teenager when a friend shared the Gospel and showed him the grace of God in Christ. Daniel was so greatly impacted that he personally surrendered to Jesus Christ and experienced radical joy, peace, and purpose. After graduating from High School, Daniel committed his life to tell other young people about Christ, as he eagerly volunteered at the Youth Ministry of CBC. After studying English and Education at UC Berkeley, Daniel worked in various fields as an English Teacher, Web Developer, Tech Writer, and Marketing Manager. Finally in 2011, Daniel was called into full-time ministry and completed a M.Div degree at The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. He is passionate about preaching Christ and discipling young people in need of regeneration and restoration. Dan and his wife Joy live in Vallejo with his four sons. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with family, playing volleyball, music, comic book art, weight training, bike riding, and reading.
Jeremy Jackson
Jeremy Jackson is the pastor of the Children's Ministry at Community Bible Church. Having grown up in a Christian family and being saved at a young age Jeremy sees the value of imparting the surpassing value and beauty of Christ from the youngest ages. Jeremy oversees our nursery through 6th grade ministries, which includes Sunday School (0-6th grade), Children’s Church (0-3rd grade), Sunday evening nursery (0-2 years), Wednesday night Generation to Come (GTC) and multiple outreach ministries. Jeremy has a strong desire to see Christ magnified in the life of the children and parents of our churches and communities. Jeremy holds a bachelor of science and Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University. He is currently working toward a Masters of Divinity at the Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. Jeremy and his wife Alycia are blessed to raise seven precious gifts from the Lord.
Julian Moore
Julian Moore directs our Sunday musical worship, and oversees both our College (COV) & Career (CORE) Ministries. Julian grew up under an abundance of biblical and musical instruction which God began bringing together into a burden for ministry after the gospel took hold of his life as a young teenager. He currently serves at CBC full time helping the elders oversee the worship ministry which seeks to lead our congregation in truth-saturated, Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered worship to God in our corporate Sunday gatherings. He also has the privilege overseeing the Christ Our Vision (COV) and Christ Our Redeemer Exalted (CORE) ministries which seek to point college and career aged singles toward Christ in all aspects of their lives. Julian holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the California Maritime Academy and is currently working toward a Masters of Divinity at the Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. Julian and his wife Michelle have been married since 2010 and have the joy of raising their son Alexander.
Lay Pastors
Nick Bonifacio
Nick Bonifacio began attending Community Bible Church in 1988 after hearing a gospel message on “the real meaning of Christmas.” In addition to his role as Elder, Nick also leads a Home Fellowship Group, helps direct the Encouraging Biblical Manhood Men’s Ministry, teaches an Adult Sunday School class, serves in the CBC World Missions Team, and disciples several men in the church. Nick currently works for Bank of America as a mortgage banker. Nick and his wife Vivian have one daughter, Niki, and two sons, Raphael and Gabriel.
Alvin Jackson
Alvin Jackson has been attending Community Bible Church since 1999. While serving in the US military in 1970, Alvin discovered the love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Alvin is a retired Custody Chaplain for the Solano County Jail. In addition to his role as Pastor/Elder, Alvin also helps lead a Home Fellowship Group. Al and his wife Dianne have been married since 1970, and have three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Greg Reed
Greg has been employed as a middle school teacher at Benicia Middle School for the last 30 years. He has been an elder at Community Bible Church since 2015 and leads the World Missions team at Community Bible Church. He has partnered in the training and equipping of pastors and leaders of Mexico, Uganda, Sudan, India and the Philippines. He serves as one of the co-leaders of the Adult Training Ministry, leads a home fellowship group during the week, and teaches at the Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. Greg and his wife DJ have three children.
Robert Vega
Robert Vega has been with CBC since its founding in 1980. Robert came to know Jesus Christ while studying the book of Romans. Serving as an elder since 1989, he regularly leads worship services on Sundays, and has led and multiplied several generations of Home Fellowship Groups over the years. manages CBC facilities and logistics. He is a retired employee of Ford Motor Company and currently works part-time at Community Bible Church as the Groundskeeper and Maintenance Supervisor. Robert and his wife have three children and nine grandchildren
