To be consistent with legal standards, contributions are made with the express understanding that the church has complete control over all donated funds, and discretion in the use and disposition of all gifts, whether or not the donor has expressed a preference as to their use. You will receive your donation receipt via email after making your donation.

Different Ways to Give to Christ’s Work at CBC

Credit Card

You can give online with a credit card as a matter of convenience only.* (To go into debt for the purpose of giving would violate the biblical principle contained in 1 Corinthians 16:2, “On the first day of every week each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come.” No one can “put aside and save” (or give) what he or she does not already have.)

Online Bill Pay

A check from your financial institution authorized through online bill-pay (website or using financial software such as Quicken®) Designate your gift for the general fund, building fund, or missions using the account number field, or memo line if available.

Cash, Check, Money Order

Cash, personal check, cashier’s check, or money order may be placed in the offering boxes, sent by mail, or you may drop off your gift at the finance office of the church.

Stock

By a transfer of publicly traded stock. Contact your broker or financial advisor and then the church business administrator to obtain needed information. The church will issue a donation receipt upon completion of the stock transfer that acknowledges the date of the gift, the donor’s name, the number of shares given, and the name of the company.

* Please be aware that credit card usage fees are deducted by the vendor before your giving is deposited to our account. The church does not receive the full amount of your gift.
