The Cornerstone Seminary fulfills its mission by working in conjunction with the Lord and His local church to fashion each of His gifted, fruitful, and called men into expositors who shepherd.
The Cornerstone Seminary seeks to partner with local churches to prepare, train, and send into the world men who are God-glorifying, Christ-centered, Scripture-saturated, and Spirit-sent. While recognizing that God fits a man for ministry, we seek to be used by Him to shape men who are marked by the following characteristics:
- Christ-centered and Spirit-empowered in expositing the Scriptures as the inerrant, all-sufficient Word of God
- Awed by Christ’s glorious supremacy and all-sufficiency
- Impassioned to spread the glory of Christ to all peoples
Constrained by Christ’s love - God-centered in ministry and counseling
- Devoted to the priorities of his wife and family
- Equipped with a loving shepherd’s heart for the people under his care
- A lover of the doctrines of grace
- Committed to reproducing himself in leaders in his local church and around the world
- A man of faith, vision, and prayer called to fulfill the “greater things” of John 14:1
