A Call to Pray by Pastor Phil Foley

By March 31, 2020May 6th, 2020Announcements

Dear Beloved Saints,

I have greatly missed gathering together with you and long to see you in person. Until that happens, I trust that as you are letting the word of Christ richly dwell within you, the peace of Christ is ruling in your hearts.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that we would like to set aside the eight o’clock hour on Wednesday evenings for a time of corporate prayer. It is the Lord Jesus who has prevented his church from meeting corporately. I believe he desires to get our attention and remind us that we need him.

Will you commit to set aside some time to pray during that hour?

  • Pray for the leaders of our government: local, state, federal, for wisdom as they make decisions that affect all of us.
  • Pray that the Lord would get a hold of our hearts, that we would mourn and repent of our sin, of our worldliness, and our love of pleasure, and that instead, we would seek first the kingdom of God.
  • Pray that the Lord would use you to share the gospel with specific people this week.
  • Pray that the Lord would use you to encourage and build up other believers and be a help to those who are in need.

Beloved, this is a time for us to draw near to God. May the Lord revive our hearts as we seek him.

For His Glory,

Pastor Phil
